We have developed our model for delivering high quality tutoring services based on 20 years of experience in the supplemental educational services field, and have focused on the rigorous evaluation of student outcomes and refinement of program design.  With internet access, school staff and parents have continual real-time access to much of the student achievement and progress data, including attendance, curriculum units completed, mastery of skills and performance on formative assessments.  Student progress can be checked at anytime from any computer with an Internet connection.

Analyses of student performance on the state tests show that TutorWorks participants gain reading proficiency at a rate of least three times (and up to nine times) that of students from the same schools who did not participant in the program. TutorWorks participants have made statistically significant gains on all three test instruments used to measure student progress: student scores on the CST tests, CELDT tests and student performance on Study Island, a supplemental criterion-based formative assessment program for the state academic content standards.
