Each year parents write to us with positive feedback and suggestions to improve the program. “The strengths of the TutorWorks Program are the parent interaction, fun learning taught to the kids, and great staff that interact well with the kids. My son knows how to work on a computer. He reads better. The program really helps him in his struggling academic subjects. Thanks for all your help. As a working parent I don’t always have time to do my part as a teacher at home. I thank you for taking some of that pressure off me.” |
Many of our staff members are from the communities we serve because it benefits our students. “I love my job because I get to be a role model to children from my community. Just like many of the children I work with, I faced many challenges as a child. Despite those challenges, I have been successful. Now I have the opportunity to mentor young people and motivate them to be successful.”
