Tutorworks is proud to offer free tutoring to those that qualify.  Free tutoring is subsidized through partnerships and grants.   The majority of free tutoring that TutorWorks offers is funded by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.  There are specific qualifications that students and parents must meet to be eligible to receive free tutoring.  Once it is determined that the parent and student meet those requirements then the school district determines who will receive free tutoring based on academic need and funding availability. Free tutoring funded by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 is also called Supplemental Education Services (SES) and is offered in partnership between the parents, the school district and TutorWorks. SES tutoring is offered at specific times during the school year and application deadlines apply.  Two qualifications that a student must meet to be eligible for free tutoring under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 are:

  1. The student must be eligible for free or reduced price lunch.
  2. The student must attend a school that has failed to meet its Annual Yearly Progress for three years in a row.
