The TutorWorks program is ideally structured to meet the needs of English learners. The use of standards-based computer-assisted curricula that address literacy challenges specific to English learners and program structures that address different socio-cultural needs of English learners ensures maximum engagement and generates results.  The thousands of English learners we have served have consistently demonstrated improved academic achievement.  At the end of the program, districts receive a summary evaluation of student performance and improvement on the CST with sophisticated statistical analysis. Over the years, our analyses show that low achieving participants (students scoring in the below basic and far below basic category) show the greatest improvement on the CST relative to the control group. English learners in the TutorWorks program showed the most dramatic improvement in their performance levels.

In 2007, TutorWorks was one of nine providers in the State of California (out of 185 approved providers) that received a designation by the State as a specialty provider to serve students with disabilities and English language learners. The designation was earned based on the program design and demonstrated results of students with disabilities and English learners.
